I know dude, I'm in Mesa. I just tend to compare temps to back hime and feel depressed...lol. Can't do that right now, the whole southwest is hell right now. Even Flagstaff, my idea of heaven, has been pushing 100 lately.

I'm headed to LA tomorrow, temps falling back to normal (over a 20 degree drop from today at most locations), supposed to be 92 in Van Nuys tomorrow where my load is picking up, and 87 Wednesday

Finally, the high pressure is breaking down a bit, so the fun is over. There will no more be 120's except for isolated locations and Death Valley. The weak sea breeze is kicking in.

115 is the perfect time to swim! It cools you off, that's kind of the point, right? I was actually chilly getting out of my pool this weekend when it was 118. if you don't get in when it is hot, when do you get in?

Wow, it's over faster than before it started! The high breaks down so fast before you can say, "how fast?" The weather is back to normal with some mini heat ups to 110-114 at times. Sea breezes from the ocean has arrived!! The fun is over!!!!!!!!!!

My love for everything in Arizona more than 60 miles north, east and south of the Concrete Jungle. If you know where I took this photo you may be a knowledgeable Zonie.

That's easy... It's the mystical road to lost dogs - who become found and tied to a rope/leash.

Of course - as you can tell by my screen name, I don't profess to be a "knowledgeable Zonie" - so there's a chance I'm wrong about the location.
