FOX 10 last night had it at 117 for Sunday and Monday. So he's on the cooler side of the predictions.

I think the pollution/haze and any other cloud cover/atmospheric interference we get will keep us out of the 120's, but that's just my prediction.

I think you're going to miss this crazy AZ weather when you move to SoCal friend ... SoCal weather is often lovely but it's pretty "boring" a lot of the time...just a very Mediterranean climate.

I think the same could be said for the weather here in Phoenix sometimes, when it comes to being "boring".

Yeah it's not the heat that gets to me the day in and day out of sunshine 300+ days a year. It's fun once a good rain hits...I see all of my neighbors for the first time come out of hibernation.

As a newcomer I was expecting oven-like misery starting in May, but so far it's been mostly fantastic, with only a few days that were slightly uncomfortable. The pool at my apartment complex is still nice and refreshing here in mid-June. I'm honestly shocked by how bearable it's been.

Yes, I know, I'll check in again after July and August.

I think the SoCal weather is far more interesting than AZ's. Its a lot more cloudy (especially in early summer), and they get more rain as well. I wont mention the fact that its far more comfortable there as well.
