It sure has been nice out the last few days...high 90s and dry. That's just nice warm desert weather in my opinion. Then compare that with the southeast US where they're having triple digit heat. I'm sure a hundred here is more comfortable than a hundred there!

Ha, sounds a bit like when I moved there in June, 2007. The temp driving into Phoenix was 110*

Anything 115+ is in record territory, so I would say it is unusual

I saw some 115s, some 116s, and a 120-degree day sprinkled in there for the following week. YUCK. Guess Ill sit inside instead of getting in my weekend bike ride. Even at night it'll be scorching.
