Now that the loop 303 from I10 to I17 is done commercial/residential construction is heating up.

REI,Dicks Sporting Goods and large expansion of Wolf Appliances are done or near done.

Two more large commercial projects have started with Wolverine Boots and Bimbo bakery manufacturing/warehouse complexes being built.

Elliot homes started selling Phase 1 at Northern/Cotton due to be 800+ homes, and another company doing mixed use development calling for 24,000 homes just started stretching from Bell Rd to Camelback along Perryville Rd alignment. Currently building at Perryville/ Shadow Ridge H.S. between Peoria/Cactus.

Was just told by a Costco Manager that the Surprise location along the 303 will be open Fiscal 2018, building should start spring 2017.

Target Prasada has broken ground at Cactus/303.

Looks to be a busy, busy year out here....

I was over in June. I couldn't believe the difference in one year. The interchange at the 303 and 10 is a delight.
Yes, things are happening at a rapid pace. Think when they start on the Interstate 11 and the parkways in the surrounding areas.

Waddell Rd at 303. We thought it was going to be Cactus/303 as did the manager but she was told no, it's going in at Waddell/303.

The west valley is the fastest growing area in the Phoenix MSA and it will continue to outpace the east valley in growth because of the land availability and more affordable prices.

I hope this puts to rest some of the nasty rumors about the west valley being full of crime-ridden ghettos or dumpy trashy neighborhoods.

I hope it's true.

Haven't seen any work at the Target site but I haven't looked that close because nothing but farming is usually going on there.
