Loco, I hear you, but I can't help myself! Haha. The funny thing is once June gets here, THEN it doesn't bother me because it's like, okay, it's finally here, I can do this and the monsoon will be here soon. For some reason I am at my grumpiest weather-wise when we get those unusually hot spring days. It's like someone set my alarm clock too early and I just want to hit the "snooze" button!

Yep, and the next historical 100 came on an April 1st so once you get to April, triple-digit time! Haha. There are only eight days in April that haven't hit 100 yet, and all of them have hit at least 97.

The most improbable high-temperature record of April, and one that I hope keeps keepin' on forever, is a very old and tough record still standing strong after more than a century...99 degrees on April 24, 1898.

You have to go October 24 to find the next high temperature record that doesn't start with a "1".

Yup that was the day I was talking about Cubs vs Bewers and it was the first and only time I ever got heat exhaustion.

It sounds like you had some bad luck there. If I go to a mid-day game I usually shoot for shaded seats. But I tend to target night games since I work during the day.

I immediately thought "oh another weather thread" and it made me think again about how we need a "weather" sticky on this forum

I can't wait. The heat drives everyone away from the trails. There are only a handful of days every year where I feel forced to take my workout indoors because of extreme heat. The higher humidity days are usually the ones that I watch out for.

Same for the Sedona area trails. I can't even believe how many I have had all to myself.
