Yeah, the train is the best way to go to the games, it's free if you're going to any event at the Suns arena (TSR) but you still pay for d'baks games. http://www.valleymetro.org/getting_o...icket_partner/

You can board anywhere along the line, right now there is just 1 light rail line here but Tempe is going to begin installing a streetcar in June and the Phoenix rail line is being expanded over the next 10 or so years.

Officially, May 4. However, while it officially (NWS) was 99 a few days ago, the thermometer in my Jeep in the West Valley read 102 that day.

There's all types of means to get inaccurate temperature readings, the inaccuracy of car thermometers is pretty well documented.

Your car temperature is wrong

Yeah...your car temp gauge is usually off especially in AZ. Mine read 132 one day last summer...couldn't find any shade to park under.

NWS says Thursday now...but that is outside my 3 day "trust" window so we'll see.

Agreed the good news is we're about right on track for the first 100 degree day based on the 100 year history, I believe the average for it is 5/3, I'm good with average.

Nope.

Close. I guessed May Day, although also thought it could've been Cinco de Mayo.

Just missed it!
