Agree, as with most central city locations there are good and bad parts. I’ve never had a problem and we go just about every year.

Thanks everybody - was surprised to see this thread come back from the dead. I'll be up there doing the fair on the 19th and the Rainbows Festival on the 20th. Haven't done anything in Phoenix proper for many years, save a couple trips through town to Taliesin West.
