Hi: I got so many responses from my question about "sleeping with the windows open" that I now want to know if anyone bought a taser gun and if so, do you feel safer with it in your house? I don't know if its even legal to own one, or if you need a permit or if it would do anything to make us single ladies feel safer at night in our homes. I am pretty sure I would be afraid to own a real gun. I would probably shoot myself in the foot. But a Taser is a whole different story. It might allow me time to get out of the house if an intruder entered.

i own real guns, but tasers are perfectly legal. Atleast in AZ.
Education is needed with both guns and tasers tho. Thats the whole key. Stupid people behind guns are the real problem when it comes to gun crimes.

Yes Tasers are legal in AZ. The only problem I see with a Taser is you get only one chance, as with a gun you get at least 6 chances.

Not only legal here, but the new "thing" is to host a Taser Party, which is the modern version of a tupperware party. Invite a bunch of pals over and a Taser host, enjoy some snacks and zap someone.

I agree with this. What is the point of owning a taser?

Well, if someone is breaking into your house and you shoot them, why is this sad?
