Interesting. I am from Michigan and we always called them expressways.

To me a highway and a freeway are different things. Freeways are faster routes within a city or metro area, highways are roads between cities or towns.

I have my views. The buildings aren't blocking my views.

They're blocking other people's views. I live far enough up that that crap would never be built.

I work in health services at ASU. We are in close contact with the CDC and AZ health department. Please believe me when I tell you that the corona virus is nothing more than a bad cold. It is far less contagious and far less severe than this years flu, which kills about 45,000 Americans annually. The ridiculousness of the media hype on this one is staggering. There are about 1000 other reasons to concern yourself with regarding a move to Phoenix.

AND to some degree, some people at the CDC. Realize, people have been training their entire lives just waiting to use their discipline. It's almost as if they want something bad to happen.

No where in his post did he say that he moved on whim and the sentence above implies that he just picked up and left with no prospects and a few pennies to his name. I'm guessing he's an educated proffesional that already had a job lined up.

I do agree though that packing up on a whim and moving anywhere without a job already waiting, no education and just a couple grand to your name is not a good idea.

Agreed 110%. Not so much in the other local forums (Prescott, Flagstaff, Tucson, Arizona) but the Phoenix forum has an ungodly amount of negativity.
