What's the legality of these polarizing license-plate covers I see on some cars (which I presume prevent the cameras from getting your number)? I would have thought you would get a big-ass fine for having one, but I'm seeing them on quite a few high-end cars ...

They don't work at all, and you will get pulled over for having one, they are illegal.

If points would be assessed here, they will find their way to your FL license through the interstate drivers license compact. If you ignore it, the suspension that would apply to an AZ license will apply in FL for the same reason. Points are better than a suspension. Pay the ticket, or go do an online traffic school before you leave. Cost is roughly the same, but you get out of the points.
