Went driving around this morning in quasi-rural NC...
The reason I say quasi is because it is "changing" ...a very rural community that now according to the owners of the farm supply co. pictured below; people just aren't growing anymore- all they grow is houses now.
So, the farm supply is having a huge sale, and selling off most of their inventory, and looking to get out of the business. In the meantime, some of the buildings there are somthing to be shot while I still have the opportunity.
one of the older buildings on the property, notice the "collards for sale" sign
Another building, an oldtime butcher shop. writing says "custom killing of hogs and beef" notice the large hook on the side of the building...
One of our horses "Mitzi". We just have 83 acres here in southeast Wisconsin.
