Every day that I have drove by this field/pond there has been Egrets on the backs of these cows. And the cows have been much deeper in the water, with just a couple of inches of their backs showing. I have seen three Egrets on the back of one cow. But not today. The one day I finally stopped. Nope. Today I got no back riding birds, just shallow cows with stupid stares.

One red, one blue. Well I guess this cow is an undecided at the moment.

I like your crop here BDF. Real bummer not getting the cooperation of the cattle egrets. Those things are good and bad. I've seen the birds eat baby quail.. Bad birds even it they are photogenic. I still envious of that new glass. I'm just a wonder what you could shoot if ya added my 2x on top of the one ya got??? Yeah, I like to see the whites of their eyes as my late MIL would say.
