It is not a birdhouse, the lid of a john, a doorbell, or drainage holes, though drainage holes are the closest. It is definately smaller than a breadbox.

Geno-777, that thing looks like a boobie trap that would give one a good jolt. something must be behind the shutters that needs protecting. I will say though that it is not an everyday item

IMRandy got this one, I kind of thought that getting ones knickers in a bunch would give it away. It is a steam iron. Now to figure out what Geno's contraption is.
