That is one exceedingly nice photograph! Just wanted to let you know it did get noticed!

You do some rather complex and very nice compositional work. That particular image is also technically dead on. It caught my attention the first time I saw it, but the second time I took the time to examine what it was that makes it so attractive, and that's when I realized the level of technical excellence. (So I scanned your we page too, and really enjoyed the people pictures you've done! Great work.)

sanspeur... your photo reminded me of these two I took at Cape Blanco (Oregon Coast)... of this huge rock (?) that was bigger than a basketball inside very old driftwood that had been tossed up on the shore by a big storm... I imagine that the tree grew around the rock while it was alive, perhaps hundreds of years ago? I like to wonder about it...
