Sh2-254 thru Sh2-258 Nebula Complex in Orion

This nebula complex of compact HII regions and active star formations is located in the club of Orion on the Orion/Gemini border

Image was taken on January 4, 2011, and is only four five-minute exposures at ISO 800. Guiding wasn't all that good. I plan to take a much longer exposure of these object next winter.

I never watched that show but Wikipedia says the exterior shots were primarily filmed at Snoqualmie... so I think the answer is yes.

Fuzz, just love these astronomy photos, particularly with the description and settings.

I sat on a stump for a long time waiting for this goose to do something.
