Yep, it is in all lower class areas of cities. As one moves up to a higher class, you get a driveway and garage, with plenty of off street parking.

When I lived in Mt. Lebo I had to park on the street. Such a low class area.

I lived on the corner of Bower Hill and 19, I parked on the street. There was no parking available at the apartment building where I lived.

Yes, my friends who live in Summerset and park on the street will be surprised to know they are living in a lower class area of Pittsburgh.

From their website:

Overnight Parking
You can request special permission to park a vehicle on the street during the overnight hours by calling 412-343-4023, between the hours of 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM, prior to parking the vehicle overnight. Permission will only be given to those persons who can not park the vehicle in their driveway due to construction, repaving, or an overnight guest and the driveway is currently filled with other vehicles.

I was thinking the same thing about my town's downtown area. The houses are older, but it's not "low class".

Ha ha. Mine too.

On a side note, hate the term "low class." I know some people who live in lower to middle socioeconomic areas who have more "class" (but not money) than some people I know in FC. Money does not equal class!

Tell this to people living in Shadyside, what an absurd thing to say.

If you have a driveway in DC, NYC, Boston you're probably not in one of the nicer neighborhoods.
