Mostly because they have nothing to do just cruise around. I can't speak for some, as I also do just cruise around, but i'm smart enough to avoid congested areas and always do LOVE them back roads. I am a truck driver, but apparently truckers can only go on specific routes and tried to avoids the congested areas as well and sometimes we can't. Sitting in trucks all day long is bad enough.

Pittsburghers (is that what people calls them?) is not that bad, we are the nicest folks around. I'm one of them. Also, we are unique and honest. No one shouldn't CRITICIZE.

Haha, I will have to agree. Folks in Pittsburgh have been nothing but super kind, helpful, and welcoming to me since I've moved here...even if they can't drive worth a **** haha (just kidding guys)!

We moved to the Pittsburgh area last year. I hate this area. No parking in Pittsburgh, hills galore, access to ramps on highways are ridiculous, the hills are insane, the streets are generally dark at night, I hope I made my point clear. Oh, and hitting deer is another point of hate I have for this area. I am now convinced that I cannot avoid accidents. I'm not looking for them, but neither do I worry that I might have one. Because I know the possibility looms reasonably ahead. I have given up worrying about deer. We just hit a deer and I'm disgusted. I feel sorry for the deer, but I feel worse about the powers that be that are do-nothing nothings.

Oh, yes, people are generally very nice in Pittsburgh. It's just the hills, the roads, the accidents, the steps, the ridiculous way things are built, etc. And the deer. But the people are very nice. On the other hand, people are nice in other places, too. :-)

This is an ancient thread on here, but I have to ask....what would you like done with the naturally occurring hills and deer? That's like being upset about the roar of the ocean when living at the beach?

I don't think we can do anything about the darkness at night, either.
