I said this a month ago. It became more and more apparent as time went on. Even the WSJ ran an editorial suggesting the same thing.

And in 20 years..you'll be able to look at the damage done to the Gulf and still curse him out.

I am appalled by this. When the Obamessiah can't walk on water any more there is no hope!

He's probably just too busy golfing...

What's really ridiculous is that some equipment (booms and certain skimmers) doesn't even need to come in on foreign vessels. We could have flown in the equipment and used it on our boats with our own manpower. Obama still didn't accept. I can't possibly understand the reasoning.

Default 70 Days Later.....obama Finally Accepts Foreign Help on Oil Spill

70 days.

Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill: International Offers of Assistance

Quote:
The National Incident Command and the Federal On Scene Coordinator have determined that there is a resource need for boom and skimmers that can be met by offers of assistance from foreign governments and international bodies.

The United States will accept 22 offers of assistance from 12 countries and international bodies, including two high speed skimmers and fire containment boom from Japan.

Quote:
Two weeks after the U.S. Coast Guard first officially acknowledged more skimming boats were needed to clean up oil in the Gulf of Mexico, federal officials waived restrictions freeing up more of the vessels now stuck at marinas and ports.

“We are at day 71 of this crisis and just now the bureaucracy is clearing a path for more skimmers. After waves of oil, tar and sludge-stained beaches, after families have lost their jobs, their business, and their way of life, we are finally beginning to see a sense of urgency from the federal government", LeMieux said in a statement.

Quote:
The Dutch fall into the first group. Three days after the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico began on April 20, the Netherlands offered the U.S. government ships equipped to handle a major spill, one much larger than the BP spill that then appeared to be underway.

The U.S. government responded with "Thanks but no thanks," remarked Visser, despite BP's desire to bring in the Dutch equipment and despite the no-lose nature of the Dutch offer --the Dutch government offered the use of its equipment at no charge.
Truly incredible and criminal.

Great! only after two months and the Gulf has been ruined. Now that is change that we can believe in.

Impeach Obama.

Ahem...Obama has been accepting help for quite awhile now. Just because someone tells you a story, doesn't mean it's the truth. You have to trust but verify....now where have I heard that before?

Help was offered and accepted from a few countries as early as 30 Apr. Most of the "offers" have been for rental of equipment and personnel. Those are the one's mainly under consideration, or they involve assets that are not approved for use in our waters.

Don't believe the hype...the truth shall set you free. And sad, that it's taken 70 days for you to see it.

Your apologies, can be sent directly by prayer to "Lord Barrack" as you spell it.

I can only assume the disaster is of sufficient crisis to allow him to ram thru his agenda now. What a total putz.
