Well, I didn't even read the link posted by the OP, since I am a conservative, not a Republican.
Being a Republican does not mean that one is a conservative, although more conservatives are Republican. A lot of independents (non-republican nor Democrat) are conservative, too.

Independents are surveyed there. The analysis said the survey indicates that the "old, weak and out of touch" version of the Republican Party is in pretty big trouble.
It's weird because the page is called "The Very Separate World of Conservative Republicans," but the name of the analysis is "Why Republican Leaders will have Trouble Speaking to the Rest of America".
I dont know if you're conservative, but if you are, do you find the people surveyed reflect your feelings? The opinions of the surveyed Independents and the Republican base diverge at a few points.
I AM a conservative, and a Democrat. I get it both ways,
depends on which one I mention earliest. Some labels are
too inclusive.

As an independent this is the way I see it: both the Republicans and the Democrats in Congress have lost tough with the voters who have put them there, and both are just as crooked. That's why their job approval rate is around 11%. It also means that incumbents from both sides will lose their jobs, specially a whole bunch of the ones who hold control of Congress (Democrats). The Rhino Republicans are also in big trouble this time.

What does that have to do with the JournoList debacle?
JournoList members colluded to unethically call Obama's critics racists just for disagreeing with his ideology and policies.
Because it wan't a debacle. It was a private listserv that was by Ezra Klein which had approximately 400 individuals that posted. They didn't agree on anything. They had Ackerman on a rant. There was no plot, and there is no huge liberal media. In fact, of the 400 many were grad students etc. And all of this was revealed by Tucker, the man that has been paid by the Republicans.
But that isn't even the bigger picture. NBC is owned mostly at this time by GE. What does GE own? Besides insurance, medical equipment, financial services, plastics, and has federal defense contracts AND profited from the bailouts? How liberal is NBC/CNBC/MSNBC?
Let's do CBS, board of directors: Charles Gifford who also a director of Bank of America and is Trustee at NSTAR. Gary Countryman is also a trustee at NSTAR and Chairman emeritus of Liberty Mutual Group. Linda Greigo director of City National Corporation, Southwest Water Company, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
I can do this all night with the media. There is a pattern. If we focus on the rabble all of those interests mentioned above carry on.
It is a game, Informed. Not a plot. There is no secrecy.
No, they are there, go ahead and read them, dont be skeered, though you're going to see things you dont want to admit to. It really is amusing to look back at those old posts.
This analysis of conservative RW focus groups' responses draws the clearest portrait of the current makeup of the right wing that I've ever seen. It's in two parts: their objections to Obama (interestingly, race is not an issue) and their sense of shared identity. The survey strongly indicates that the Republican Party as we've known it is in big trouble -- "weak, old, and out of touch."
Democrats say this all the time about Republicans. Yawn.
Educated people are the very ones in charge that ran us into the ground. When we elect people we should look for integrity instead imo.
Can you give us a couple of examples of candidates you would support who fit this criteria?
