If you think the money private insurance companies are making, is being passed onto the physicians, nurses, etc...your sadly mistaken. And yes, you deserve to reap the rewards of your education and hardwork and labor I know the issues of physicians all too well And, I am healthy We can start with repealing the equation used to determine physician/provider fees for Medicare/Medicaid/and Tricare.
It's not socialism to have Medicare for everyone - it's
the right thing to do. I can think of nothing more societal than medicine.

I pay $800 per month for one drug for my ill wife who also takes many others for her condition. This drug is not a new fangled, high science drug in any way shape or form. The reason it is high because the manufacturer can charge this rate. We have no insurance anymore because my wife at a relative young age became ill. I can go on and on about why this and that but why bother because it seems it's pointless to explain to some people. Simply put our system is decaying at a rapid rate and is not sustainable.

Yeah ... heaven forfend that the regulatory authorities do their best to ensure that new drugs and technology is actually safe to use.
All developed countries have a similar regulatory environment to ours but their costs are a lot less than ours.

I don't know if you were a victim of "recission" by the insurance company but it is my understanding that this is one abuse that "Obamacare" has got rid of (or is getting rid of)

We lost our insurance finally, after many battles with them, when my employer went chapter 7. No cobra is available in this situation. Hipaa coverage was $2600 per month here in this state of VA. Virginia offers nothing to people like my wife and I, I mean nothing. I make too much money for medicaid for her and I don't make enough money for the banks to help me. We've been trying to get her SSDI coverage, because she was a real and continuous taxpayer for 30 years, but has been rejected for 3 times, even though she has a firm diagnoses of a very painful crippling disease. As her lawyer said, "if she can sell tickets at a three ring circus with her feet, you can almost forget about it with this corrupt federal government. Sense Virginia offers nothing to good tax payers, the federal government has stepped in with a pre-existing condition insurance coverage at $13,000 per year with high deductables. These deductibles can go as high as $20,000. We are selling our house of 15 years and moving out of the state.

I am sorry to hear that.
My brother-in-law has a range of ailments including diabetes, being legally blind and getting a kidney transplant. He is fortunate in that he lives in Massachusetts. However, he cannot marry his girlfriend of long date because he would lose his benefits, he cannot work as he would lose his benefits and no insurance company would touch him and he cannot move out of state.
Free market health works in theory. The problem is that it does not work well in practice.
