Better a thread than a political party. The Democratic Party is finished.
Yeah sure, I will safely assume that the majority of the people in the United States will not allow a party comprised of right wing religious zealots to hijack the government and put their whacko off the wall policies into effect. The Hybrid Republican Tea Party is a combination of corporate a$$ kissers and Rapture freaks. Good luck with that.

They put the crazy left in charge in the congress and white house didn't they? Now the American people will correct the error.
The Dutch and the French didn't look for a place to live across the ocean so they could do as EU did...repeat the same mistakes. The intent was not to conform, the intent was to form a new nation...which every 3rd grader in the USA knows.
And as any fourth grader would know the EU wasn't founded for another 300+ years so your irrelevant argument is not only irrelevant to the topic but specious to boot.

Off topic.
"whacko off the wall policies?" For a minute there, I thought you were talking about the extremists Obama and his administration. That would be true as well. They have hijacked the government and thankfully the people realize, and don't want to go where he wants to take them. His ratings are falling like the auturm leaves.
Mexico and Mexicans just suddenly appeared in 1810? How strange.
Well, before that date, they'd just be colonists...Spain was the mother country.
And the Mexican American War didn't happen until 1846--before that much of the Southwest was home to the people of Mexico. In fact, if you'd like to get picky, the first city in the land we know call the United States was St. Augustine, Florida, established in 1513 by Spain, the same people who would colonize Mexico.
