Although really I'd guess most of the people here so concerned with what everybody is doing in the bedroom are doing so for a reason-a deficit somewhere in their life. Just sayin'.
Wait, you forgot the separate beds....

I've never said they CAN'T raise them in a good home. It may be a very good home. Having said that, men and women are different by virtue of being male and female. That's just the way it is and frankly, this political correctness taken to an extreme is nauseating sometimes.

When we take the "rights" of people above the good of babies it's a sad day.

When we take the non-existent "rights" of cells inside of female's bodies and put them above the good of already living, breathing girls and women, it's a sad and frightening day.

In fact, the best way I ever heard it put came from a gay man:

*************************

Who explains to the young daughters when they reach an age how to deal with their growing breasts, their periods, boyz sniffing around them demanding blow jobs, how you stay chaste, how to deal with the meanness of other little girls, what PMS feels like and how to deal with it, the expectations of motherhood, what to expect with a baby in your belly, how you feel with various kinds of birth control, how other women feel and what is going on almost every day of your uniquely female life? Huh? How is it two men think they have what it takes to raise a female child, or two women think they have a clue about the pressures of being a boy and dealing with the pressures of testosterone, male bonding, etc. Oh yes, it’s so very
politically incorrect to dare suggest that a child is entitled to parents
of both sexes, but in point of fact, THAT IS HOW NATURE INTENDED human
children are raised. Sorry, I know it is a hanging offense to suggest in
this oversensitive age that child raising and homosexuality might have even
the slightest hint of a problem, but then of course who gives a **** about
children when we’re talking about OUR RIGHTS?

*******************************************
And who fills this role in the case of single-fatherhood - widowers, sole custodial situations, etc.? And, conversely, who fills this role when the child is male and the parent female in similar situations? We have a whole generation of children who are growing up without a parent thanks to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan - are their remaining parents incapable of providing for them in the ways outlined above? Or are you going to now come back with the 'extended family' argument?
This is BS.

Doubt you'll get an answer any time soon. Better the child is shuffled from foster home to foster home, where the possibility of abuse is much greater BTW, then to have a stable loving home with two same-sex parents who want him or her.
The truth is that the agenda is more important than the welfare of the children.

I'm not saying a homosexual couple couldn't raise a child but I don't think it is as mentally healthy as a man and woman.
just my opinion
Your opinion has been trumped by actual studies, unfortunately.

Same-sex households have been found to be just as healthy as a house hold with a mother and father.

Especially, if you want more same sex households.

Two heterosexual parents is the best way to raise
normal children. Make exceptions as necessary,
but keep to the old correct methods when possible.
It is what God and nature intended.

Because heterosexual households never produce homosexual children...

Also, the "old" method involved one father and many mothers. Do you mean to go back to that?

Never let it be said that the firebrand conservatives on this board let facts get in the way of their opinions:

A new study suggests children of gay parents are not only psychologically healthy, but often appear to exhibit better social and academic adjustment and a significantly lower incidence of social problems than their peers.

A recent CDC study (http://www.cdc.gov/nchhstp/newsroom/docs/FastFacts-MSM-FINAL508COMP.pdf - broken link) of gay men in 21 cities found 1 in 5 were infected with HIV. Something like 44% of them were unaware they were infected.

This is after more than 20 years of frantic, worldwide mass-media AIDS awareness campaigns. Many of these men would have heard about AIDS before they entered puberty and later realized their penis was pointing in a gay direction.

Meanwhile the media feeds the public these squeaky-clean, cute stereotypes of gay men that seem so likeable and harmless. And since most of the public uses these images in their thought-processes, it’s no wonder so many people have kneejerk reactions to support gay rights, gay adoption, gay everything.

When you present facts like this, or the fact that gay men are not allowed to give blood, it muddles up the waters and begins to point to uncomfortable conclusions.

But don’t worry, just close your eyes, point the finger and unleash the kill terms like “homophobic” and pretend those foster children will be just fine in the gay household. If the gay community keeps getting its way, you’ll be fine too when you receive their blood at your next hospital visit.
