Kids are going to be cruel no matter what.

That shouldn't be a barrier to gays adopting.

And people who don't know squat about the research don't have biased opinions?
I would believe that research leads you to conclusions based on studies and facts.

Does this mean that medical researchers are biased?
I'm really unclear on how one's field of study is dismissed because they study it.

Is ignorance the new determining factor of what is and is not?
Close. I believe it's the conservatives' reliance on "common sense" reasoning. Common sense that is built from one's upbringing, their surroundings, their parents, their religion - mostly emotional, not rational or fact-based, components that lead to their understanding of "what is".

Any study or scientific evidence that runs counter to their understanding is then viewed as nonsense - because it's not in accordance with their common sense. They view all conclusions and statements of fact as deriving from bias much in the way that they form their own conclusions.

It is possible for people that study the same field to have differing points of view on the subject. It is also possible that a person might "cook" the results in order to make things appear more like they want it to, in order to get more funding or to reach a political objective.

A prime example of that is the global warming hoax, and the hacked emails that were exposed showing the "scientists" were trying to fabricate evidence for it.

Just imagine if the child walks into their room and found the 2 men doing it. OMG that would mentally scar that child for life.

A foster home is a bizillion times better for a child. Just imagine if 2 sick man adopt a boy, and they touch his private parts when the child is young and vulnerable. There is no way a social service worker would find out about the abuse.
Really.

Here's the difference. The studies have been done numerous times over the past 20 years by many different people.

And the results have always been consistent.

Children raised by homosexual couples are just as balanced as children raised by heterosexual couples.

If you've got anything proving otherwise, please, post it.

BS reason for banning gay adoption

kids will get made fun of for being fat
kids will get made fun of for wearing glasses
kids will get made fun of for wearing the wrong clothes
kids will get made fun of for having freckles
kids will get made fun of for having any sort of physical disability
kids will get made fun of for having any sort of emotional/mental disability
kids will get made fun of if their parents are/have any of the above
kids will get made fun of for watching Dora the Explorer instead of Hannah Montana

and so on, and so on.

parents need to stop raising bullies and parents will just need to realize that kids will get teased for something so there's no point in coddling them. if the teasing becomes extreme, it's not b/c of who the parents are or aren't, but it's b/c the parents of the bullies were fools and passed on their foolish ways to their spawn. kids making fun of other kids b/c their parents are gay are little homophobes in the making and I'd be far more concerned about how their hetero parent(s) are raising them, not the other way around

Ever hear of something called "peer review"? That's what happens before papers and studies are published.
It seems, from your post, that you believe the world is in collusion if it doesn't agree with you.

"Global Warming Hoax" is not a "hoax" - there is significant climate change.
The demonized were exonerated...
But you digress and attempt to hijack yet another thread.

Except that there is little to no documentation to support the idea of a "warming" (much less that man can control it)....and is now called a "Climate Change".

And that little business of a bunch of emails between "scientists" that show them conspiring to cook the data to make it look better for their cause.

I put God's law before the laws of man. A new word is needed to replace "homophobe" which implies fear. It is not fear, it is disgust. It is abhorrence at an abomination.
