Why aren't Conservatives as a whole in favor of legalizing marijuana?

Probably because conservatives, as a whole, aren't a bunch of potheads.

They prefer being liquored up or addicted to prescription drugs e.g. Limbaugh, Bush Jr., Betty Ford, Cindy McCain....

Just why in the world do you think anyone would actually take the opinion of a racist seriously?
Whats up with the name calling?
Being diagnosed with cancer it horrible, I know.
It should be a time to re-evaluate what is 'really' important in your life. Try to lose some of your anger & for Pete's sake, Stop the name calling, please.
Maybe you can get a prescription for medical marijuana & it will help calm your nerves.

I am kinda in the middle with all this.

It should be legalized for medical purposes as a pill only. Smoking it in any other way besides a vaporizer can cause serious respiratory damage over time.

Completely legalizing a psychoactive drug like Cannabis would have disastrous consequences IMO.

People lace Marijuana with much stronger drugs like Cocaine, Codeine, embalming fluid, & PCP all the time.

Ever tried driving a car while high on Marijuana? It decreases your reaction time & depth perception drastically.

My goodness!

What if someone were to get drunk, stoned, AND be caught in a long, munchie crunch conversation on a cell phone while driving?

Not all of those you listed are conservatives.

I know quite a few conservatives and none are addicted to anything.

I don't smoke weed. Tried it a couple times when I was young and didn't like it.

But I'm for legalization. Let's take it out of the hands of street dealers and the drug cartels.

I guess when people talk about "land of the free" they must mean with several notable exceptions (drug use, prostitution, strip clubs, etc). And I hate weed and other drugs, but I love freedom and support people's right to do what they will....
