The mission will be accomplished once we get rid of the entire dem party running things.

When 2012 rolls around and we are done with the entire dem party and the idiot in the WH then and only then will the mission be accomplished.
So you believe that everything will be peaches & cream if Republicans control all offices?
Maybe we should have that happen so the thickheaded can see what a load of crap both parties are.

Yeah and Bush inherited it from Clinton along with an escalating terrorist threat which culminated in 9/11.

Do liberals remember anything that occurred before Jan 2001? Serious question.

The deficit in LBJ's final budget was a surplus. Kind of damages your theory a little. There have been five surpluses in the past fifty years -- all by Democrats.

Cumulative Deficits by Party, 1962-2008

Democrats (20 years): $243.3 billion
Republicans (27 years): $4,847.4 billion

We already won it once. But then Bushie marched off on his foolish foray into Iraq, handing Afghanistan right back to the Taliban. Trading one victory for two defeats. That's some kind of excellent strategery.

Along with history, Republicans have reinvented hypocrisy since then.
Typically neat and facile. It's all yours now, leftie. And all of your rhetoric isn't fooling anyone.

(p.s. U.S. Troops to be killed under Obama: you don't know and you don't care...)

Obama campaigned as tough on terror and some people actually bought that line
Remember how he kept saying that we get back into Afghanistan and fight the real terrorists who were responsible for 9-11?

It seems that Obama is not comfortable being a "wartime president"

Did Obama think that the whole world would love us just because he drew big crowds in Europe?

No, he thought that with the media in his undershorts, it didn't make any difference what he did, that he'd be re-elected anyway. And it looks like he's right. Our brave and independent media has rolled over and taken it doggie-style as the country has gone steadly down the drain, with surging unemployment, states bankrupted by years of liberal giveaways, and a foreign policy that is eerily reminiscent of LBJ's -- the above propagandist's attempts at Bushopathy notwithstanding.

And so far, he looks like a lock for 2012. He'll dump Joe and pick Hillary for Veep. And win going away, since the media has declared anyone who disagrees with them insane.

You can take Obama's re-election to the bank. If you can find one which is solvent in 2012...

That was our current POTUS. August 15, 2007

BARACK OBAMA, PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: We've got to get the job done there and that requires us to have enough troops that we are not just air raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous problems there.

I find it funy that I have never heard Obama declare victory in iraq. I mean he has ordered an end to offensive operations so we either won or lost. Which is it?
