O"Reilly just announced on Fox That they will be making an issue of this and call for taxpayer money to stop going to NPR. He also said Whoopie is talking on The View about how outrageous this is.
npr is losing what is left of its credibility very quickly.
Exactly my thoughts, although with a much smaller question mark. Soros has also recently donated a huge chunk of money to the Huffington Post and don't forget his "gift" to Media Matters this week. Now, if he can just accomplish his goal of destroying Fox News...
Freedom of Speech? Pretty important right, don't you think!
I certainly hope the Silent Majority speaks up on this one and all the others that are sure to be coming...
My other thought is that the American people and our media and thereby elections are just pawns in a battle for power between billionares Soros vs. Murdoch. After all, this is the first time Soros has actually experienced a concerted opposition to his efforts.
Hope they require an independent auditor of the NPR books.
Oh Yeah! This may actually turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Let it all come out in the open. I think a huge BackLash has already begun. And Williams will do just fine, personally. Probably a boost for him too.
The Irony is incredible, Juan a Liberal gets fired from a government funded network that claims to be unbiased, but still has a job at Fox who is accused of being the biased ones.

[MOD CUT]
