Why shame?
A government imposed "minimum wage" does NOTHING to help the poor worker. Invariably cuts hiring of new workers, because businesses, unlike government, have fixed budgets.
It does hide the abuse of workers by the government.
What abuse?
The loss of jobs, buying power of their wages, eradication of their future, destruction of industries...
I blame the government for inflation. (destroyed the value of savings by frugal workers)
I blame the socialist government for taxation, overhead, administrative bloat and inequitable trade.
{that's what happens when worker A tries to buy output from worker B}
I blame the government for debasing the money. (counterfeit fractional coin, too)
I blame the government for deception regarding the perpetual "State of Emergency" first declared in 1933.
But the greatest blame is on us, for consenting to their perfidy.
Technically speaking, we're just victims of the world's greatest propaganda ministry - until you read the law for yourself. Then you can really scream "shamey shamey" - upon the correct party.
But "they" are confident that "wise and caring" Americans will be too arrogant and / or apathetic to actually READ the law, in the public record, available in any county courthouse law library.
Why, even CONGRESS doesn't read (nor comprehend) the laws they enact.
"They" are banking on Americans to be deaf, dumb and blind to the abominable
People's Democratic Socialist Republic of America, being erected around them, each day.
Once the
republican form of government is eradicated, our descendants can weep aloud "SHAME ON YOU" - directed to their ancestors, who let it die.

Homework assignment for those who do not wish to remain blind, deaf, and dumb to the PDSRA.
Determine the (legal) difference between the following pairs:
national v. citizen
sovereign v. subject
individual v. person
inhabitant v. resident
domicile v. residence
natural liberty v. civil liberty
personal liberty v. political liberty
private property v. estate (real and personal property)
absolute ownership v. qualified ownership
If you do not know the legal difference, you will not understand what has happened to the
United States of America and the republican form of government promised to the American people. (See: Art.4, Sec.4, USCON)
GOVERNMENT (Republican Form of Government)- One in which the powers of sovereignty are vested in the people and are exercised by the people ... directly ...
- - - Black's Law Dictionary, Sixth Edition, P. 695
Yes, folks, that's what you've lost... the only government on this planet that recognized that the people were superior to it. Where each sovereign individual directly exercised sovereignty. Where sovereigns did not go "begging" for scraps tossed from the table of "Big Brother". (i.e., "entitlements")
