Glenn Beck has three big shows this week starting tonight (Tuesday). Really, they've been heavily promoted for the last two weeks in advertisements. You libs, especially you guys at Media Matters, better get ready because you are really going to pee your pants by Friday. I'm putting on the body armor now because I think this forum is going to be the equivalent of all hell breaking loose in a day or two.
I'm pretty sure this is sweeps month (which is why that whole Olbermann stunt by MSNBC) and I think Glenn Beck has been saving his good stuff for this week for the same reason.
The biggest problem we have with the continued division in this country is because people 'worship' these people & their talking points on BOTH sides. They hang onto every word & refuse to see that people like Beck are hired to get ratings.
The arguments over these people & what they say have been going on for quite awhile here on CD. Nothing will change or get worse.
You don't do it because MM doesn't tell you what the real truth is only that Beck is a liar. You fail to realize that Spooky Dude created MM to do what they do with the people who want to believe what they spin and never see Beck to see what he is actually saying.
I have done it didn't need MM (don't know if you mean Media Matters or mainstream media but either way, I didn't need it) to do so. Google "Glenn Beck lies," you will find many but if you really want to fact check just google what he says and find sources to back it up. Right wing sites or pundits don't count. Find an objective source. Do your own homework. I don't work for free. Try to take your mind back from Glenn Beck.
Oh and just wanted to add, Indian newspapers aren't considered credible objective sources either. Not sure what others were taught in school but I had to use credible sources. It is a shame that something that was required in 4th grade is not required by a major "news" network or congress woman before they go spouting off.
We've had this argument before. Beck is absolutely not an idiot, he knows exactly who his followers are, and how to exploit them. He does it very well. It is very funny, and strangely sad at the same time, to watch.

What's personal about Beck being an entertainer? That's what he is. I believe he even admits that himself. He's a "talker" who is a professional "entertainer".......
What are his educational credentials? How many think tanks has he worked for? Where did he get his college degree? Does he have any post-graduate degrees? The guy has a really good job for himself, makes lots and lots of money, and is laughing all the way to the bank.
So refute the information he presented on last nights show. I'd love to see his information ripped apart. What information is he presenting that is factually not correct? Please enlighten me.

Beck is your boy. YOU defend what he said on last night's show. If you believe he was so "right," then just summarize what he said and demonstrate what "correct" conclusions one should draw from the information.
After all, it's how one puts information together which makes a difference.....CONTEXT. It is certainly possible to list a set of facts in a manner which makes the conclusion drawn from such facts INCORRECT.
Do your own homework about Beck, and then present your case for him. You guys are the ones who believe every word he says and hang on his every show. So, why can't you all describe, or at least summarize accurately, what Beck said on his show for all of us.
And why can't any of you list a few of Beck's credentials?

Beck isn't my boy and you are FAILING to answer the question. Refute the information Beck has provided, with facts. Please. I'm curious to hear where Beck is lying and how he is wrong. If you can't prove him wrong, then you really have no argument beyond a personal dislike for him.
