Why, she's just trying to attain the gaffe level of your esteemed leader, GW Bush, who decided to give Merkle a neck and shoulder rub. Didn't he also touch the Queen of England?

And don't worry, Mrs. Skeffington, the color of a person's skin doesn't come off when they touch something, really, it doesn't!

Oh, oh...so here comes the "race card".

Between the casual sexism of the right and the open misogyny of Islam one hardly knows where to throw up sometimes.

"Moo-Shell." What a lovely way to refer to a woman of normal weight! No wonder our girls grow up with distorted body imagery and the resulting obesity or anorexia.

Before speaking out on childhood obesity, Mrs. Obama needs to be honest about her own weight. And yes, she is heavy.

And as I recall the poster who made these comments was once on the receiving end of bullies as a child and said her coworkers are jealous of her ...so now she's joined the mean girl side. There is a difference though, to the FLOTUS, Mrs Skeffington's childish, mean girl, e-bully insults are non-existent. By the way, I don't think jealousy is the reason for the dislike...it's not always about looks. A person can be physically beautiful but if you're ugly on the inside, your physical beauty is meaningless. Check your attitude Mrs. Skeffington. I can't see you and have no idea what you look like but it took all of two sentences to see what type of person you are.

No. She's a normal weight for someone of her size and height. She looks great. Criticism of her body is classless and inappropriate. I would say the same of anyone who made fun of Barbara Bush's bulging eyes or Laura Bush's ugly grating voice. It smacks of sexism and it needs to stop. The right looks incredibly boorish when indulging in such childish behavior.

How would you like it if I made fun of YOUR looks?

Once again: THE STORY ISN'T EVEN TRUE.

Last week it was the "$200 million dollar a day trip...."

So I guess this is going to be the untrue, made-up, scandal of the week meme of the right wing today...

It's really sad that instead of taking the time to create legitimate criticism and solutions, they'd rather choose to believe innuendo that is patently false in a feeble attempt to forward their agenda...

While I am not a fan of the Obamas. This is a non issue. That gentleman clearly reached for her hand first. This you can't put on The First Lady.

Damn...even the First Lady, who is an absolute doll, can't catch a break around here! A street thug? Good lord.

Intresting dude-part stone age, part cutting edge.

He's a flake and so is she, nothing worth arguing over as far as I can tell.
