People can alwaqys opt out of flyinh that is their right. My guess is the sameones protesting will be the first in line to sue for lax of security.Take a proivate plane is your choice.
Does anyone know how bad/violating is the full body pat down? I heard it is close to a cavity search
I'm traveling right after Thanksgiving and am wondering how fabulous my choices are.
Its no worse then going to the tailor and being measured. Or for ladies, its less invasive then being measured for a bra. It takes about a few seconds for them to do a pat down and then your on your way. This is their professional job, and just as people get their clothes fitted by complete strangers everyday, whats wrong with another professional doing such a thing?
Well sure, but remember, it was box cutters what brought America down.
You're right. We have to know what people are carrying concealed on their bodies.
I think people would have a new respect for the TSA screener's job if they had to look at the baggage xray screen for 8 hours and try to figure out what was being carried on.
The job they do is a difficult one. And, if they make a mistake there are dire consequences. Innocent people can lose their lives.
But, where is the outrage that Israel is blowing people up during airport screening... ? Isn't that just awful?
Oh, come on. The 9/11 attacks were nine YEARS ago. This intrusive, disgusting invasion of privacy that is passing as "security" is so far behind the curve, it's useless.
And to think that 450 of the new machines were bought with stimulus money.
Absolutely revolting.
Yeah, and 9-11 happened only because Bush ALLOWED it to happen. They were waving those terrorists thru with white gloves on.
The metal detectors make sense.
The xraying of your luggage makes sense.
Everything that has happened since then (profiling, shoes, xrays - really? we're going to irradiate an entire generation of children?) has been absolutely ridiculous, retarded, and ineffective.

And what if you have a prosthetic d_ck? Do you have to remove it and let it be searched?
