If abortion is really the only thing you have to show that Republicans have any sort of compassion for humanity as a whole, then they are far worse than I thought.

I hear ya TruthBeautyGoodness, Republican Party has killed & injured more people (including unborn, infants, and children) with pollution, wars, anti-healthcare agenda, and deregulations of all aspects of all businesses. GOP is anti-people, which is why I gave up on them too.
I'm not ready to openly promote a party which supports such hateful and divisive people. I'm Catholic, and part of being Catholic is doing your best to love others, and in my mind the Republican party couldn't be doing a worse job of that.
Well then.....maybe if some top GOP members went and had a sit down in a wooden box with some guy who just mollested some young boys and listened to his words of wisdom....then went and squeezed some beads or other such activity....it would make every little thing alright....That's the way it works- isn't it?
OP-- It may be different for gay marriage (I say if you don't want one, don't get one), but as far as abortions go, republicans have done just as much as democrats to reverse Roe vs. Wade. i.e. NOTHING. So I don't see what your purpose with Republicans is. Your tendency for critical thinking and compassion is more in line with Democrats.
