Texas numbers for 2006....56% of births were covered by medicaid.
25% of those births were by teens who were on their second or more child.

If a woman on Medicaid has two children, she will need to get her her tubes tied. We can't keep expecting responsible people to subsidize the poor and stupid.

I don't care what China does. I'm sick of seeing hard working middle class folks pay for women on medicaid to pop a kid out every year or two on the taxpayers dime.

I can't wait to see how the states are planning to pay for this. I asked my congressman, but never got a reply on how Illinois can afford this. Not only that, but Medicaid provides and pays for stuff that not even private insurance covers like free hearing aids every three years and all the free batteries they want. The hard working people who don't qualify for Medicaid have to pay out of pocket for them or do without while their taxes pay for those on Medicaid.

Why are people on the public dole getting better coverage and more services than those who work and pay for insurance themselves? Again, our government punishes those who help themselves.

There should be a seperate Medicaid Program funded by taxing the liberals, leftists, Dems, and "progressives", who are determined and happy to enable the repetitively irresponsible and entitlement-minded....

The bleeding-hearts could pay-in to their heart's content and assuage their guilt for living in a Nation where many still believe in personal responsibility and accountability

If you pay any federal and/or state income taxes you already have.

But, but, but....where will Democrats get their voting base if the breeding of the dependent class is stifled?

And you think dependency on Medicaid is something to be encouraged and increased? Please explain why.
