I pay a good bit more than my fair share, as my income is less than $300K. But I don't begrudge that I pay more than what is fair. I begrudge those earning a lot more than I, who do not pay their fair share. I ceratinly do not begrudge those on the receiving end of Medicaid, in any way! They need it.
But you have no problem with people who earn less than you taking your fair share and raising families with it.
Well possible solutions then so no one will have to use medicaid for birth services.
A ~ pass a law that no birth in a hospital will exceed $1000 total charges, so everyone will be able to pay by cash without "stealing" from you via tax money
B~ for whoever parents can't afford to pay for the birth, require the child to serve 8 years military service when the child becomes 18 to pay back the family debt to society. That way we would have plenty of man power to continue the war on drugs, war on terror and go to war with North Korea and Iran for which many believe tax money to support those, is not stealing from one to redistribute to another........

Option B has to be one one the lamest things I have ever read...Why should an innocent child be required to be cannon fodder for a war mongering nation?

It is and I wasn't serious about it. My point is going to the hospital and having a kid delivered costs thousands of dollars. Those who don't support medicaid seem fine with hospitals costing outrageous amounts because the hospital "works hard for their money" and deserves it, it seems. While they talk about how someone might abuse the system within government means like with medicaid when it comes to private practice no one ever abuses a system so they seem to think.
