huh? Did you see the interview? That is all we are referring to, not slanted in any way, O'Reilly interviewed her, she made those comments and they were not taken out of context at all.

My earlier point exactly. They are 2 totally different concerns and one is not related to the other. We are discussing welfare here, not the pros and cons of our involvement in the mid east.

She has 5 kids
The oldest is 6.
That means she's had 5 kids while being ON welfare.
How on earth can anyone think to bring 5 kids into this world as a single mother and be on welfare as your source of income ????
And then read about Joy..on and off for 10 years and admits "she's not motivated".
Who is going to slap some sense into these people ?

It is stunning how these folks think. Was is equally stunning is that liberals scream at the top of their lungs that working individuals have a duty to provide for people like this.. It's mind numbing..
The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program for children was created mainly for those with severe physical disabilities. But the $10 billion in federal benefit checks now goes primarily to indigent children with behavioral, learning and mental conditions. Qualifying is not always easy -- many applicants believe it is essential that a child needs to be on psychotropic drugs to qualify. But once enrolled, there is little incentive to get off. And officials rarely check to see if the children are getting better.
