But I agree with many individuals, including Sheriff Dupnik, that the partisanship and rhetoric have exceeded responsible limits, and that we, as a people, should demand that our political leaders, elected or not, should ALL be more responsible about what they say, and how they say it.

Does anyone recall a memorial service, tee shirts, scripture readings by the Attorney General, and standing ovations for the 12 soldiers killed and 31 injured at Ft. Hood? I'm sure there must have been one, but I missed it.

I do remember memorial services, and a moment of silence. I'm sorry you think the military commanders didn't handle this tragedy in the way you would have liked, but the people who made the decisions regarding the rampage at Ft Hood did make their decisions in a way they determined to be the most respectful to honor our fallen soldiers.
