You never speak negatively about good, repeat customers. Ever.

""Another ghetto Sat. Party. They really love us don't they. Especially on Sat.""

That should have been "wow, these are great customers. find out who is the big Ruth's Chris fan in the party and comp them a desert" or "Saturday is crowded. Offer a 10% discount for their next visit on a weeknight". Speaking negatively about repeat customers at a premium establishment like this will get you fired, racist or not. A negative attitude towards customer service is infectious and kills margins in food service.

Well if those repeat customers would TIP their servers, not act like the restaurant owes them something, and not live the stereotypes that most blacks own, then maybe, just maybe racist remarks like the one the manager made would not be made as often, if ever.
I have worked in food service MANY years and 80% of the time, the blacks are the absolute WORST customers possible. It's pretty bad when even the black SERVERS don't want to wait on them.

Free market.

It doesn't matter what we think, I believe FL is a right to work state, you can get fired for looking cross-eyed. No guarantee of work.

How is this germane to the discussion?
What does this have to do with the topic except to make it more racist than the guy who was fired?

There are 2 sides to every story, and so far we have only heard the "victims" side. No one has thought about were these "repeat customers", customers from hell, or not.
There had to have been a reason why the GM said what he said, whether it be from past experiences with that particular customer or other supposedly "ghetto acting" customers.
But as usual the race card is being played!! Did you ever think that it might not be because if their color rather than their actions??? Last I checked the term "ghetto" wasnt exclusively a "black thing"....it can also apply to all other races as well. It just happened to be a black person, that made this complaint.

Oh yeah. Let's assume that the GM made racist comments because, you know why? The BLACKS DESERVED IT! After all, they're horrible tippers. I just think you are mad because most people of any color don't tip you at McDonald's......

Doesn't matter what this GM's personal thoughts or motivations were. He did this with company email and reflected poorly on his company. End of story, he should have been fired.
