like another poster said, our troops are water-board as part of their survival training....where is your cries of torture for them?

remember when torture involve stuff like putting a tube down someones throat and pumping water into their stomach or taking a pair of electrodes to someones chest or skinning someone alive?

now torture is the illusions of drowning where your life isn't in any real danger with a doctor present just in case something gets a little too hairy....... really?

For the last time what good are these laws when only we are expected to follow them?....what good are these laws when the bad guys can clearly break them but we must expect to follow them to the letter?...

"international treaties".... "Laws of War".."UN conventions"..blah, blah, blah....why the hell is the burden of "rules of engagement" is on our shoulders but not the ones who actually want to kill us?...why the hell aren't you people demanding terrorists to stop blowing up innocence civilians and using them as shields?.....

I am watching you people bend over ass-backwards for a bunch of people that would kill you and all that you love without remorse....what is wrong with you people?.."its the law"..you can sacrifice yourselves and families for the "law"...meanwhile I plan to pull the trigger because I want to live tomorrow and see my family...

you people dare not call a Muslim an "Islamic terrorist"....but can't wait to call one of our soldiers a "torturer"...the poster above me just simply waved all actions by terrorists away....really dude?...you're going to dismiss be-headings and firing squads done by terrorists but whine about water-boarding?

And you called someone a Nazi when they said they didn't have any more sympathy for those who commit terrorism.......really?....he's a Nazi because he doesn't want to "cuddle" those who want him and his family dead?...terrorists, the ones who wants you dead but find it morally outrageous and Nazi-minded at those who think terrorist are scum for committing, you know, actual terrorism.....if those who don't like terrorist are Nazi-sympathizers to you,...then what the hell do you think of the actual terrorist themselves?...is something wrong with you, or do you just need to feel "morally superior"?

And seeing as how our nation allowed someone like Bill Ayers, a known unrepentant and overt domestic terrorist to escape any real prosecution to end up teaching our students and becoming wealthy in the process should tell you how screwed up these "laws" can get...

they want you dead, even you, those who want to throw around "international laws" and "treaties" likes that's going to stop them from going after you and your family.......but by all means, you have that right to be killed if you want to feel "self-righteous" and "enlighten" by yourselves..your killers would still be walking the Earth, laughing about your death, but at least you showed them..you didn't stoop to their level.....

Since we're strictly following laws now...its about time we deport all those illegal immigrants at once.....after all...its the law

I'd say so!
Selective memory?

It does not matter because nothing will ever come of it.

Libs and other countries can beat this dead horse all they want. It simply does not matter.

Everything is pointing to he would be arrested for torture if he went to Switzerland. Too bad they don't arrest him and Cheney here

And you're just plum crazy of you think Bush would ever be tried by the U.N, Switzerland or any other other country/entity. Ain't gonna happen. Period. End of story.

You libs might as well give it up and start living in reality.
Actually, there's this:

"George Bush admitted yesterday that Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the self-proclaimed mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, was waterboarded by the US, and said he would do it again "to save lives"."

George W. Bush Admits Torture, Says He Would 'Do It Again' | CommonDreams.org

Seems pretty clear that there was a violation of the signed treaties.

Here's another link to the story:
France24 - Bush cancels Geneva speech 'fearing' possible torture charges

By reading some of the posts it's apparent a few 'patriotic' Americans like the idea the people are tortured.

Actually, the Swiss drew up plans to combat the Nazis involving guerilla warfare from rural areas and their press consistently antagonized the Reich's high command, but don't let me distract you from your RINO neo-con-munist ideals.
