Germany has a quote system. 10% of workers have to be germans...but in some cases they can't even fill 10%. The payment is not so bad; its more than unemployment pay.

Perhaps Hitler should have kept his ego in check, took his meds, and not have tried to take over the world like the mad man that he was. For the most part, the people of the United States at that time did not want to be involved with what was going on in Europe. It was only when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, and then Germany declared war on the U.S. immediately afterward that is when we got involved. Sure we didn't win it single handedly. But all things considered we had to fight the Germans, AND the Japanese! I'm not going to apologize for what happened almost 70 years ago, because it's history! Secondly, I had two grandfathers who fought in WWII! Finally, WWII was fought the way a war should be fought! You fight to win! Not this crap that we had with Korea, Vietnam, Iraq... ect...ect.
We are run by corporations and theocratic lunatics. We complain about government interference but some don't hesitate to push agendas with subtle religious morality attached. We are also brainwashed to obey anyone wearing a military uniform. It is impossible to question any military action in this country, even if it is just mindless murder like in Iraq.
I for one am getting out of here as soon as I graduate with a degree.

The Soviet Union inflicted over 90% of the casualties the Germans suffered in WW2, so you Americans defeating the Germans single-handedly is a myth (actually, as the German casualty figures suggest, your role was quite minor, the Germans would have been defeated even if you Americans never landed in Normandy in 1944.), which only junkies and TV-zombies like you believe.
Ah yes! Bravo for the Russians for killing (and freezing to death) Germans on the eastern front that INVADED THEIR OWN COUNTRY! So brave, so caring of Europe's plight! One wonders if they ever would have really gotten involved if Hitler hadn't made his epic blunder to invade?
Oh yeah, AND they did so much to help the advancement of Eastern Europe after the war as well! Eastern Europe, unrivaled for its innovation, science, arts and culture post WW2 under that benevolent Soviet rule!
