You do know, don't you, that Hispanic's also cross over out of Canada? There's not so many, of course, but Canada has been a route of entrance for a long time, and not only for Hispanics. That border is not so closely guarded, so a lot of illegals go to Canada first and then come here.
Moreover, Washington east of the Cascades is heavily engaged in agriculture and agriculture related industries which employ thousands upon thousands of Hispanics, most illegal. From the apple packers around Wenatchee and Chelan, to the french fry factories in Othello, to the potato fields near Connell to the frozen vegetable manufacterer's in the Tri-Cities, the chief labor source is illegal Hispanics. They're everywhere.
I saw a member of the jury interviewed on AZ TV. In her words, the crime was "unconscionable" and that the jury felt that death was a "fair" punishment.
Personally, I do not agree with the death penalty even for this evil woman. I would rather she rot in jail for the rest of her natural life.

Her actions have been roundly condemned. Why would you expect anyone to condone them?
Her criminal actions were more likely motivated by her criminal leanings which already led to her being rejected by the actual Minutemen.
