Oh simply? How much oil do we produce domestically? How much do we import?

How much electronics manufacturing do we do in this country? I think we may have to move from cell phones back to smoke signals.

Worked well for Venezuela.

Venezuela's oil output slumps under Hugo Chavez - Telegraph

"Venezuela's daily oil production has fallen by a quarter since President Hugo Chavez won power, depriving his "Bolivarian Revolution" of much of the benefit of the global boom in oil prices."

The lefties are truly unhinged.

From the link.

"In fact, the Tax Foundation discovered that of the 25% of large corporations that paid no tax in 2005, 85% of those did not pay tax because they had no profits."
Annnd, if you read the links embedded in the original link you would know that "they had no profit" was precisely because the loopholes allow accounting magic that makes, as in the case of Exon Mobiles $10 BILLION in profits to be either hidden away or made to disappear which was the point raised by the thread to begin with.

Quite a bit of electronics is manufactured in this country and the nation is plenty capable of producing its own electronics as it has in the past.

Corporations make a profit by using the infrastructure in the country. If they refuse to pay taxes, charge them fees to transport their products on our highways.

Also, if they don't pay American taxes, they cannot contribute any $$ towards political candidates or the endorsement for a political candidate.
Hell, even the churches cannot promote a candidate to maintain their tax free status.
BTW, if we want to tax churches and they move to a country with lower taxes, that is okay with me.

Please list all the companies that refused to pay taxes.

Of course goods that are transported by road are taxed. Again you simply don't get or refuse to see, although some companies do not pay income taxes they pay other taxes.
