But they'll blame federal workers for the deficit.
I guess that they're the new talking point.

If corporations were so interested in the US, they'd provide jobs instead of hiring stables of attorneys to get them out of their tax burden.

It is the Public Workers fault.

Interesting. Yet the corporations have the rights of an individual according to a recent ruling by the supreme court. If corporations want the rights of an individual they should also live up to the responsibilities of an individual by paying income tax!

What is the difference if these taxes are paid by stockholders and consumers anyway?

Wouldn't happen if one wiggled on their face IMO.

Businesses are mostly all corporations and often remove all profits to salaries (where they are taxed), to reinvestment in the company to improve it (which is a legitimate business expense) and to perhaps pay dividends to stock holders (which is also taxes).

Grow up, this union disorganizer thug site knows nothing about business.

They pay license and business taxes, then they pay payroll taxes, then all the taxes involved in the course of doing business.

Businesses are often corporations only because they want to limit the damage lawyers can do to them with lawsuits.

Your 7-11 guy is a corporation because if some idiot drives through a window and kills someone the business gets sued even though they had nothing to do with the person driving through the window.
In the same way all businesses are corporations.

Corporations that leave money in the account in fact end up paying a double tax if they don't zero them out.

There isn't enough other people's money around to pay for government unions sweetheart deals.

I'm not sure what the score is at this point but it is clear that the conservative right are on the defensive. Unfortunately, their only play continues to be that we should believe Exxon-Mobil (the most profitable entity ever), GE, Pepsi and other large multi-nationals when they claim to have made no profit at al since 2009. That's all they have. I would feel sorry for them if they weren't so unabashedly smarmy while putting over the same lame (offensively so) defence of the Fleece Market System. It might have been better to have picked an easier battle. This one is unwinable using the usual right wing reverse logic. Mate in three. Resign or be checkmated.

Can you afford to pay the total cost of products from start to finish??

I can't.

The more I read posts on CD the more I believe many posters do not have a clue of how our tax system works.

If you get the time, please take a few class about business taxes.

I think you will enjoy it.

Actually, these large corporations do pay income taxes. But they manage their tax liability and plan their tax strategies so that these taxes are paid in jurisdictions that have lower rates than the US.
