Seems like you skipped a paragraph.

Not all experts are so worried about an impending epidemic. Dr. Denis Daumerie, head of the World Health Organization’s leprosy elimination program, said fears that immigrants might lead to a resurgence of leprosy in the US were a little overblown. “There is no risk of an epidemic of leprosy,” he said. “There’s absolutely no risk that the few immigrants who are affected by the disease, if they are diagnosed and treated, will spread the disease in the US.”

OK whatever...my point is just if you want to really take care of the issue stop demonizing them and go after the ones that are breaking the law by hiring them in the first place. That is the root cause.

Yes they are, they should too be punished, but stop making light of the fact that NO ONE forces the illegals to do anything, including killing cops, and commiting other crimes, from rape to murder, to drugs to robbery. No One, they do this themselves.

The 6% of them that do these things should be dealt with very harshly.

This is rapidly becoming a candidate for migration over to the official Subforum of Bile & Hatred, but before it goes, the claims made on these various nativist sites can be routinely debunked simply by checking back to the sources they claim for their statistics. It's no more difficult to misrepresent the data than to represent it honestly, so that's what these folks do. Time after time after time.

A recent example? A claim that the Virginia Department of Health had blamed a higher than expected rate of new cases of tuberculosis on the wave of new illegal immigrants into the state. Track it back and what do you get? Not only did VDOH not make any such statement, they do not collect information on immigration status at all. The hate-mongers merely made that part up and tossed it in to make their story sound better. This is who these people are...

Same BS spewing each time, because people are against our laws being broken our country and people disprected and at time violated, we are racist. Time to get a new line. One claim huh, go disprove the CDC American medical association, and all the local hospital cases like the ones here in Denver then we will talk. before this thread gets closed because we are off topic, go make a new thread in the Illegal immigration forum and we will discuss.
