They just can't stop their fear mongering, even when they are totally discredited.

Oh yeah, we've heard that "thin ice" theory before, haven't we?
guess they will have to pray to Earth Mother Gaia to bring back the drought.

Well it's a little difficult to blame a tsunami on racism which is the biggest hammer in the tool box for many.

Did you not know? Ice ages are the natural state of the planet. It has only been because of man that the planet has warmed beyond its natural state. Prior to mankind's appearance, it was dino-farts keeping the planet warm.

Rep. Hank Johnson predicted something like this massive earthquake in Japan would happen just last year. Clearly there are too many people on Japan and it reached a tipping point.

Gee, I thought it was when you're incapable of understanding the difference between weather and climate, you shouldn't talk about either.

How many years does it take before weather become climate any way? It's been much colder then normal in my state for three years now, is that still simply the weather?

Thanks for making my point!

And I'd add the difference between global and local into the mix.

And BTW, I'm not siding either for/against the idea of global warming here but looking at localized temporary conditions as proof or not is silly. And I have no doubt man can influence the environment. Anyone who ever drove thru the pre-emissions controls LA Basin has seen that to be true.

What does an earthquake caused by shifting plates and the resulting tsunami have to do with imaginary man-made GW/climate change? Are you going to suggest that man caused the magnetic pole to shift and the North American plate to move? Really?

That is what Rep. Hank Johnson believes, too many people causes islands (like Japan) to tip over, and if you disagree then you MUST be a racist.

Thus, the tsunami was clearly the result of racism.
