National Organization for Women communications director Lisa Bennett, after days of silence, sounded more as if she didn’t want to be bothered: “Sorry, but we can’t defend Palin or even Hillary Clinton from every sexist insult hurled at them in the media.”

Several weeks ago, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews attacked Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) with another derogatory slur in reference to a harmless geographical gaffe she made about American history. How large can I post a "DUH!"

Feminism is about EQUALITY....slam men, slam women, we're all allegedly equal.

WHY do you think women should be protected?

Why do you think they can't take care of themselves?

YOU seem to be the misogynist sexist....thinking of women as little hot house flowers needing protection....that's weird...and condescending and patronizing and sexist and ....

Have you heard some of the names Bill Maher (and other comedians) call men? They are equally "offensive." So now women can't be called names? I call BS on that. Ridiculous.

Ummm, conservative women are the ones who would like to turn women back into slaves of their reproductive systems, back to those old barefoot and pregnant days.......you are a breeder first, a person second.

Way to play the sexism card, guys. LOL
Christine Todd Whitman is not a threat nor is she eye candy.

Kay Bailey Hutchinson is not running for re-election nor is she a threat to date this may change when she leaves office. We will have to see. If she becomes outspoken she will be attacked.

Murkowski is not eye candy either.

They like to go after what is considered eye candy.

Maybe looking up what sexism is might help.
Here is an example.
A pic of Palins legs/shoes on campaign trail.

Your statement is sexist.
As someone else has pointed out, nothing Michelle Obama has said/done in public JUSTIFIES the vile treatment by Limbaugh, Coulter, Malkin or the whole of the rightist media in this country.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. You right wing types need to get over yourselves...

Your statement is hypocritical.

Hillary has had her share of attacks, I certainly wouldn't call her eye candy. Michelle Obama too.

They also showed pics of Obama shirtless on his vacation..........so?
