backontopicnowkthanks.
Cutting funds does not equal doing away with.

The title of this thread is putting a limit on welfare and means testing it. Nowhere does it say anything about defunding.

Mind you, there are lots of Christian pregnancy centers that provide birth control and GYN exams. Where do you think that money is coming from?

That is the woman who needs the low cost services of Planned Parenthood.......so she DOESN'T become a welfare ma ma.

You have to quit making snap judgements and assumtions about other people's circumstances. Please, stop and think.

And.......as I said in my other post.....that once a year gynocologist visit costs me $180.....and that does not include tests.
and still $180 once a year is nothing

we ALL spend way more than that EVERDAY on tons of other BS

my cable/phone/internet bill is about that..EVERY MONTH

let's just say you know you have to go to the obgyn once a year and the bill is 200......200 divided by 26 (paid every 2 weeks) is 7.6 dollars a pay period....you cant afford that????

then you cant afford to be talking on the internet either

Ever heard of women's clinics? Those places DO NOT charge $180 for a pelvic exam. I'm not sure if you have to have a pap to get BCP, either, so those lab tests you refer to may not even be applicable here.

Yes you can. Ever been to the mall or Walmart? $20 for a full set, like $12 for a fill.

Maybe the parents can go to the school an volunteer to work out their kids lunch or something?

Why dont they have work? Or do they want to work at all?

A high percentage of free loaders get free lunches for their kids but yet have direct TV, cell phones and all the other things they should not have.

If the corporations were not so overtaxed or over burdened with regulations by the democrats maybe mom and dad would have a job to EARN their kids lunch instead of relying on those who do have work to pay for it.

The parents need to be punished for not taking care of their own kids.

You mean women's clinics like Planned Parenthood?

Yes, a pelvic and pap is required to get BC pills.......all of the gynos I have ever been to required it.

we do read and analyze. we don’t parrot rush or glen.

however, what you see as us spouting vile hatred is in fact frustration with a system that takes money from hard working people then hands it to others in such a way that it ROBS them of their independence.

NONE of us on the conservative side think people, especially children should starve to death.

We DO however see that generation after generation of the same families end up on this support with no end in sight. We do see a culture of poverty that is exacerbated by the way our government goes about supporting these people.

our frustration is in the fact that far too many are robbed of the blessing of earning a paycheck.... and seeing their kids excel and go beyond what they have achieved.

There is no vile hatred. there is no parroting party lines. and if you weren’t so busy hearing what you want to hear, you might find that both Rush and Beck are saying the same thing the rest of us are saying. they are a reflection of our frustration, not the other way around.
