....which you can't get without a prescription from a doctor.... which you can't go to if you are poor/can't afford the payment/have your "entitlement" healthcare program de-funded... which is a service Planned Parenthood provides.
backontopicnowkthanks.
My brother, who is uninsured, visits a doctor for $50.
Who came up with the idea that a doctors visit should be free?
How important is sexual freedom to a person who refuses to take the personal responsibility to seek contraceptives?
Is it important enough to them to have me pay for it?
you cant afford a ONCE A YEAR $60 doctor visit..but these wefare mama's can afford to spend $20 a week getting their nails done, or $10 a week getting their eyebrows waxed

Great line!
The arguments cannot be broken. We have answers to all of the bleeding hearts questions and they cannot debate it without calling us "haters".
You may pay less than $100 at your General Practicioner.......but Gynocologists are considered specialists and charge at least $180 for an office call........and don't forget the reguired lab tests that can cost a couple hundred on top of that. The next time your wife goes to the gynocologist, take the time to look at the total charges before your insurance paid it's share.
And........here is a newsflash for ya........most poor people do not see a doctor once a year.
Why?
Should we have people knock on their doors to drive them there?
Isn't planned murderhood there to help poor women?
The problem is the churches and other charities don't fill the gap. The churches and charities had this responsibility before social programs were created and expanded... Why? Because the non-profit/religious sector alone could not meet the need.
It's nice to think that this would be possible, but it hasn't proven to be a reliable method of assisting the poor in the past.
Maybe the "poor" could get off the drugs, stop having children they can't afford, get a job, or go back to Mexico. We might be able to afford the truly poor, then.
What about the women who are not on welfare and work at minimum wage jobs or are only able to get 30 hours a week?
That is the woman who needs the low cost services of Planned Parenthood.......so she DOESN'T become a welfare ma ma.
You have to quit making snap judgements and assumtions about other people's circumstances. Please, stop and think.
And.......as I said in my other post.....that once a year gynocologist visit costs me $180.....and that does not include tests.
Is YOUR health worth $180 annually to you?
Is theirs?
Or is it only important to them when they get knocked up?

If you lost your income how many months would it be before you were poor? The average American is less than 4 months from poverty.

Does your brother go to a gynocologist?
Gynocologits are considered specialists and charge more than GP's for office calls, and there are expensive lab tests required before BCP's will be prescribed, FYI.
If you had read some of the previous posts, {from women, who would know} you would have known that.
Love it when people talk about things they obviously know nothing about.
