Exactly. Unless the school is willing to drastically alter what it serves, this makes no sense. In fact, it makes no sense regardless of the quality of the food.

It's one thing to have school uniforms, but mandatory food requirements? I wonder what the logic behind this is.

You're exactly right Greg, it's typically how many government agencies operate. They need to justify their existence and have a reason to request more funding. They do this by creating a need for funding so they can ultimately expand.

The article states they they do receive more federal funding for more students on free or reduced-price lunches.

How can we even CLAIM to live in a free country anymore. This is ridiculous. Do parents have ANY say in the lives of their children anymore?

Probably not. Society via government controls are slowly taking over.
Remember Hillary's saying.."it takes a village" ? That village is the USG and parents are not invited.

No they don't.

But, if your kid packed a bag of medicinal marijuana, that would probably be upheld by the courts.

What a load of crap. I know plenty Moms who do pack very healthy lunches for their children, seen it done personally. Maybe not all, but to say that you have to buy cafeteria gag me lucnhes, except for a medical illness, is plain Bull.

That stuff is neither all healthy, and gag me, no real good taste, another ploy i can see going on here, what next. Telling us who your children can and cannot play with! This now something else i am sure coming soon.

I'll take another wild guess the cafeteria workers are represented by the SEIU or other union.
