Who ever approved the use of that text book should be fired. Radical socialism is alive and well in your public schools folks. Time to root out the Communist Revolutionaries again in this country. I say with the SEIU.
What our schools need is to spend more time on ethnic studies of Americans and less about minorities. What this book is trying to do is make kids see that Americans are "bad" because they aren't like the minority people the book is aimed at.

It is past time for us to realize that continuing to allow this kind of multi-cultural thinking will someday destroy our country in the way those who support that belief want to do.

Great, isn't it?!

(BTW, For those of you without children in school yet, the public school libraries beginning in middle school, are filled with books containing all kinds of profanity that we are not allowed to print here or even on Amazon when reviewing the books our kids are reading in school!) But, the focus here is on, not only the foul language but the use of it to instill hatred for America. This is what we are forced to pay for via tax dollars?

Time to wake up and realize what is going on in this country.

Time to rethink public education folks.

I don't think this is what most people imagine "Ethnic Studies" is about. It is not teaching children about their ancestors' culture. This is a radical political agenda, if ever there was one. Another example of public school indoctrination and obscene use of children to further a political cause.
Excerpts!

When will you be telling us just what is going on in that district? Surely you have some ripe info about just what is going on without having to make it sound like it is so bad but not sharing your info.

I think most people are aware of what is going on in Tuscon. But, if you have some factual information that you believe would justify the use of this textbook with 3rd graders, feel free to post it. Otherwise, your nasty comments just sound...empty.

Hey I have no issue with studying the Ethic Cultures that make up this great country of ours. Thats not the issue, it's the politcally charged socialistic agenda that is woven into those studies to provide a perverse view of this country and its history.

No, but the ones that aren't are brow beaten and chastised. They are the silent majority that go along to get along with the Marxists that have taken over their Union leadership positions.
