You, being a fake libertarian have this knee jerk reaction to siding with authority over free speech you don't agree with.

Now if this were your fellow white elderly conservatives being tackled to the ground at a Tea Party event for some civil disobedience...you'd be all over that.

It's not about principle with you.....it's who you sympathize with.

They are getting too rowdy, and shouting down the Congressman."

That went waaay over your head.

In the thread I was arguing that no limits should be put on Fred Phelps protests...when I ran across another right wing "fake libertarian" who was for the limits on free speech.

In the post you linked to I asked him if it was OK to limit rowdy Tea Party protests? To try and point out his double standard.

No hypocrisy whatsoever.....I stand for free speech I disagree with.

The whole idea was to get arrested on video and make it look like they were victims. Everyone is free to lawfully protest, they knew this wasn't the case so what were they protesting? that they couldn't protest? LOL stupid, they should have went to the court system if they wanted to change the law.
They got exactly what they wanted, it didn't change anything and looked foolish and thats my opinion.

This is a bad deal for freedom and liberty.

"It doesn't really get into the legal specifics.

Did the evangelists enter a blocked off area for which the Muslims obtained a a city permit for?

Did they refuse to leave?

If so they likely did breach the peace and should have been convicted."

"Legal specifics" matter when it's people doing something you don't like?

I knew it wouldn't be long before someone came along and tried to rationalize this kind of tyranny.

Actually, it's the liberals who are taking our rights away.. Do a little research.

Liberals = assault on freedom.

It's too complex for you to understand.

You can be for civil disobedience and you can be for following the law.

The police in this situation and the Muslim street event .....have every right and should enforce the law.

On the other hand I am for civil disobedience against unjust policies.

The question in the Muslim thread was not if they were right or wrong for passing out literature....but were they guilty or not?

The dancers in this video were "guilty".

FAIL again.

I also believe Bradely Manning should have been arrested and put on trial.....I also believe what Manning did was right......It's called CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE.
