Looking at the facts presented above, Obama and democrats have done a lot better than Bush and republicans did in the same time... despite the republicans breaking records on filibustering things that Obama and the democrats wanted.

Funny, you're saying I'm 12 when you don't think for yourself like a 12 year old. You even admitted that you get your supposed truth and "common sense" from Progressive talking points. How does it feel to not have your own mind?

The above example is the result from a successful propaganda campaign.

Refusals of the GOP to even sit at the same table, refusing to compromise on ANY subject and ANY time....to say ON TV and CABLE and the INTERNET that they had NO INTENTION OF ALLOWING THIS CONGRESS OR THIS PRESIDENT TO SUCCEED.

As a happy Texas, you well understand how stonewalling, redistricting, refusing to compromise, taking the ball and going home, works so well. But yet even with everything the REPs could throw at the Prez, he still manage to at least level the economy and stop the freefall, save the auto industry, give medical care to thousands, and catch that Osama guy, your Texan Prex couldn't care less about after he said he wanted him dead or alive and mission accomplised. Oh yeah.....and Obama actually accomplished the Bush mission as well. Anything else cowboy?

I told you HT, they would blame the right. Their tactics are so damn predictable.

It's not real hard for most people to "predict" what has been staring them in the face for 2 1/2 yrs.

1- Carter (+8.2 million jobs)
2- Clinton (+6.7 million jobs)
3- HW Bush (+339K jobs)

And three Presidents with negative job growth in the private sector in the first 29 months, beginning with the worst:
1- W Bush (-3.4 million jobs)
2- Obama (-2.1 million jobs)
3- Reagan (-1.1 million jobs)

Among these, Carter inherited a stagnant economy, Reagan inherited a seriously stagnant economy, Clinton inherited an economy that was struggling and was recovering from a recession, Bush inherited an economy that was in best shape, and Obama inherited an economy that was in the worst shape.

Now let us see the state of job growth in private sector the year before they took office, worst to best:
1- W Bush to Obama, 2008: -4.6 million (and getting worse)
2- Carter to Reagan, 1980: +72K (stagnant, extremely slow growth)
3- HW Bush to Clinton, 1992: +1.2 million
4- Clinton to W Bush, 2000: +1.4 million
5- Ford to Carter, 1976: +2.1 million
6- Reagan to HW Bush, 1988: +3.0 million

Job growth under each President, after one year in office (over next 17 months), best to worst:
1- Carter: +4.8 million jobs
2- Clinton: +4.2 million jobs
3- Obama: +2.1 million jobs
4- Reagan: -892K jobs
5- W Bush: -940K jobs
6- HW Bush: -1.3 million jobs

As far as deficits go, W Bush inherited the best budget scenario (deficit not being an issue) while Obama inherited the largest deficit recorded till date, at over $1.4 trillion.

Given the numbers above, there is absolutely no logical reason, only excuses for simply hating Obama being the President to a serious case of being a partisan hack for not recognizing real problems, obstacles in solutions and denial.

So far too many of HIS successes have led to so much destruction of the American economy that we can't afford for Obama to succeed any more.

Well I can see the campaign fodder forming for the Dems. Rather than admit defeat and come clean about the failed stimulus and QE they are going to finger point, with no proof, and place the blame squarely on the Repubs.

-Republicans destroyed what the Dems had done to get the economy back on track.
